First For Education are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely with students with special educational needs in Kidderminster. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to individual students, assist with their learning and development, and contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with SEN,
• assisting them with their learning and personal development.
• • Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies tailored to each student’s needs.
• • Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to create and deliver appropriate learning activities and interventions.
• • Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their independence and self-esteem.
• • Assist with the implementation of behaviour management strategies and support students’ emotional well-being

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join the existing team at this school, playing a key role in supporting the teachers with daily learning activities while also ensuring the general safety and welfare of students.

What do you need to have for this role?

• You need to have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant or Childcare qualification as a minimum.
• Have experience working in a Primary School classroom in the last 6 months.
• SEN EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL
• Be able to commit to a long term role.

• DBS on Update service.
