1-1 SEN TA – Ludlow

First For Education are pleased to be offering a new learning support role in an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ primary school. This role will require you to work on a 1-1 basis with a year 1 pupil. The school are seeking a strong individual who will be able to work with the child inside and outside of the classroom and as directed by the classroom teacher and SENCO. This position is a long term till Christmas, 5 days a week.

You may be looking for more flexibility in your work life whilst still making an impact on the education of children. The right candidates will need to demonstrate a clear passion for teaching. You will need to have good punctuality and good personal organisational skills.

  • A teaching assistant qualification is a must, with SEND knowledge
  • Must have a desire to make a positive contribution in class
  • Must have a desire to make a difference to the progress- academic, social and/or personal- of pupils with SEN
  • Need a successful track record of working with pupils
  • Build relationships with the pupils, parents and staff.
  • Passion for Primary Education.
  • Enhanced DBS required.
  • 2x references

All our staff, including classroom supply teachers who register with us, must hold a valid, enhanced disclosure. We can cross-check a current one through the DBS update service or you must apply for a new one. We can help with that.

All new staff are interviewed by an FFE consultant.
