Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Afterschool Activity Co-Ordinator to join the team at a Primary School we support in Kidderminster. You will play a vital role in providing safe, fun, and educational experiences for primary school aged children. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to create a high-quality, child-focused play environment. The Afterschool Club at this school offers a safe and happy ‘home from home’ play based environment and are seeking an individual who is available to work during during the hours of 3pm-5:30pm

Due to the nature of this provision, they also run a holiday club so there may also be opportunities available during the school holidays for full day work to top up the term-time hours.

Job Purpose:

  • Supervise children, organising/preparing appropriate play-based activities and ensuring the environment is left in a clean and tidy condition at the end of each session.
  • Provide a high quality, child-centred play setting that meets the needs of all children and their families, including those with additional needs.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Level 2 Qualification in Childcare or Teaching Assistant or similar.
  • The ability to support play activities that children enjoy.
  • Experience of working with children aged 4 –11 years.
  • Excellent motivational and organisational skills.
  • The ability to commit to working these shifts on an ongoing basis.
