Afterschool Activity Co-Ordinator in Dudley

First for Education are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Afterschool Activity Co-Ordinator in Dudley to work in one of our client schools. The Afterschool Club at this school offers a safe and happy environment, you need to be able to work flexibly across the week for them depending on the demands of the provision, there may also be the opportunity to pick up more work at this school supporting them during school holidays within their holiday club provision.

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Supervise children
• Organising/preparing appropriate play-based activities
• Ensuring the environment is left in a clean and tidy condition at the end of each session.
• Provide a high quality, child-centred play setting that meets the needs of all children and their families, including those with additional needs.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Level 2 Qualification in Childcare or Teaching Assistant or similar.
• Safeguarding Certificate or be willing to get one
• DBS on the update service / willing to apply for one
• The ability to support play activities that children enjoy.
• Experience of working with children aged 4 –11 years.
• Excellent motivational and organisational skills.
• The ability to commit to working these shifts on an ongoing basis.
