English Teacher Selly Oak

Are you looking for a new long term position ready for September? First For Education are currently recruiting for a English Teacher located in Selly Oak, 5 days a week.

Contract: September 24 – December 24- 4 days a week.

Essential for the Secondary English Role:

Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).
Experience teaching KS3 & KS4.
Good classroom and behaviour management.
Extensive knowledge of the current curriculum.
Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
You will be required to do all planning, marking and preparation for the classes you are responsible for as well as attending school meetings and parent’s evening

All our staff, including classroom supply teachers who register with us, must hold a valid, enhanced disclosure. We can cross-check a current one through the DBS update service or you must apply for a new one. We can help with that.

All new staff are interviewed by an FFE consultant.
