As an Nursery Practitioner, you will play a leading role in fostering the intellectual, social, and emotional development of children. First For Education are looking for a Nursery Practitioner based in Worcester for 5 days a week. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual, who can bring unique skills and innovation to an Outstanding Nursery and who has experience of working within a team to provide the best learning opportunities for children from birth to 5 years.

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing a varied, stimulating and exciting range of activities that meet the children’s developmental needs.
  • Ensuring the facility is ready for use, by setting up and clearing away.
  • To comply with Nursery Policies and Procedures to ensure that the welfare requirements within the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework are met.
  • Observe each child and shape their learning experience to reflect your observations, reports and reflect on children’s progression and learning outcomes.
  • Working as part of a highly motivated and professional team.
  • Establishing positive relationships with children and their families.
  • Working in close partnership with other staff.

The ideal candidate:

  • Level 3 Childcare qual (Must be in Early Years settings) (required)
  • Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
  • Adhere to and promote all school policies.
  • Safeguard children and promote health and safety.
  • Promote good practice in a professional and inclusive manner.
