Job Description

First for Education are currently seeking an Early Years or KS1 class teacher, whilst managing teaching assistants to ensure the classroom functions smoothly.

Primary Teacher – The Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
  • You will be teaching EYFS or KS1 classes.
  • Ensure students are focused and are on track in lesson.
  • Support students with additional learning needs.
  • Is proactive, adaptable, and eager to contribute to the school community.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil development.
  • Create an engaging learning environment.

 

What they are looking for:

You may be looking for more flexibility in your work life whilst still making an impact on the education of children. The right candidates will need to demonstrate a clear passion for teaching. You will need to have good punctuality and good personal organisational skills.

  • Someone with a relevant teaching qualification with QTS.
  • Someone with a passion for education
  • Someone who demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Someone who has a passion for delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils’ learning journeys.
  • Someone who is proactive, adaptable, and eager to contribute to the school community.

All our staff, including classroom supply teachers who register with us, must hold a valid, enhanced disclosure. We can cross-check a current one through the DBS update service or you must apply for a new one. We can help with that. All new staff are interviewed by an FFE consultant.
