Teaching Assistant role, Level 2 

Pay – £90-100 per day

Location – Worcestershire

Duration: 3 days a week, Part-Time

First for Education are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant on behalf of a Primary School in Worcestershire, Part time 3 days a week. To start September 2024 till Christmas 2024

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join the existing team at this school, playing a key role in supporting the teachers with daily learning activities while also ensuring the general safety and welfare of students.

Expectations for this role:

• Provide support to individuals or groups during independent/group work sessions.
• Support the whole class for short periods when directed by the class teacher.
• Facilitate role-play activities.
• Encourage cooperation, sharing and inclusion among all pupils.
• Promote independent and group work as needed.
• Assist in personal, social, and emotional development.
• Encourage positive interactions between pupils, especially those working towards behaviour targets.
• Assist in supervising pupils during enrichment activities off-site, under teacher guidance.

What do you need to have for this role?

• You need to have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant or Childcare qualification as a minimum.
• Have experience working in a Primary School classroom in the last 6 months.
• Be able to commit to a long term role.
• x2 References
• DBS on Update service.
