Teaching Assistant – Kingswinford

First for Education is currently seeking a Teaching Assistant in Kingswinford for a full time interim position with an immediate start for one term. If this sounds like something for you, apply today!

What they are looking for:

The Teaching Assistant must show the skills of being a great team player with a willingness to learn new skills and become committed to the progression of each pupil. Students will look to you for help and guidance which is why it is important to show compassion. You will need to use your own initiative and execute the best solution for any problems that students are facing. Helping them get through the day just that little bit easier.

The required experience for the Teaching Assistant role is:

  • Must have Makaton experience
  • Passion for Education.
  • Pro-active, resilient and simplifying tasks for pupils.
  • Be a shining example for the students to look up to.
  • Showing students effective learning strategies to solves problems on their own.
  • Relevant subject or Teaching Assistant qualifications desirable
  • Hold a current enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for one.
  • Be willing to undertake a no obligation registration process to allow safeguard vetting and to supply a minimum of 2 suitable supportive references.

All our staff, including classroom supply teachers who register with us, must hold a valid, enhanced disclosure. We can cross-check a current one through the DBS update service or you must apply for a new one. We can help with that.

All new staff are interviewed by an FFE consultant.
