First for Education are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sports Coach in Dudley to work in one of our client schools in both during term-time and school holidays.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
Preparation and delivery of variety of physical activity sessions including multiple sports such as football, netball, cricket, dance, etc
Be an enthusiastic, reliable and flexible team player.
Be able to commit to work during both term time and school holidays.
Carrying out administrative duties.
Ensuring that the children are safe and supervising them during their breaks, participating in sessions, overseeing the safe use of equipment, and promptly recording any incidents.
Key Skills & Experience:
Have a First Aid qualification and Safeguarding Certificate or be willing to get these.
Encouraging children of all abilities to participate in physical activities
DBS on the update service / willing to apply for one
Must hold a relevant physical activity qualification, at least Level 1 or equivalent or a 6 months experience working with 4–16 year olds.
Adhering to company policies and procedures.
Helping to coordinate the activities and sessions.
To maintain professional relationships with children, parents and carers, communicating positively and providing feedback on a child’s progress throughout the camp.
