Sports Coach in Dudley

First for Education are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sports Coach in Dudley to work in one of our client schools in both during term-time and school holidays.

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Preparation and delivery of variety of physical activity sessions including multiple sports such as football, netball, cricket, dance, etc
• Be an enthusiastic, reliable and flexible team player.
• Be able to commit to work during both term time and school holidays.
• Carrying out administrative duties.
• Ensuring that the children are safe and supervising them during their breaks, participating in sessions, overseeing the safe use of equipment, and promptly recording any incidents.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Have a First Aid qualification and Safeguarding Certificate or be willing to get these.
• Encouraging children of all abilities to participate in physical activities
• DBS on the update service / willing to apply for one
• Must hold a relevant physical activity qualification, at least Level 1 or equivalent or a 6 months experience working with 4–16 year olds.
• Adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Helping to coordinate the activities and sessions.
• To maintain professional relationships with children, parents and carers, communicating positively and providing feedback on a child’s progress throughout the camp.
