Wrap-Around Assistant in Dudley

First for Education are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Wrap-Around Assistant in Dudley to work in one of our client schools. We are looking for Breakfast and After School Club staff to join us, most of the work involved in this role involves supervising the children and entertaining them whilst they await the start of their school day or are waiting to be collected.

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Preparation and delivery of variety of activities
• Be an enthusiastic, reliable and flexible team player.
• Be able to commit to work during both term time and school holidays.
• Carrying out administrative duties.
• Ensuring that the children are safe and supervising them during their breaks, participating in sessions, overseeing the safe use of equipment, and promptly recording any incidents.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar role
• DBS on the update service / willing to apply for one
• Safeguarding Certificate or be willing to get one
• Ideally you will have at least a Level 2 TA or Childcare qualification although this is not essential.
• FREE training to help with your professional development such as Special Needs Awareness and Behaviour Management training, online webinars and safeguarding and child protection updates.

• Access to a dedicated consultant, who will provide ongoing support.
