Year 5 Teacher – Wolverhampton

First For Education are recruiting for a Year 5 Teacher to join our team, working at a Primary school in the Bushbury area. This role is perfect for experienced Key Stage 2 Teachers who enjoy going that extra mile to help pupils in their journey of education. 

This is a full-time teaching role, so you will be expected to plan lessons and engage in general teaching responsibilities for the academic year. Other responsibilities include:
• Marking assessments
• Managing the behaviour of pupils in the classroom
• Attend meetings at school
• Plan engaging lessons
• Work alongside other supporting staff in the classroom
• Liaise with staff
• Follow school policies

To be considered for this Teaching role, you will need the following:

• Previous experience in teaching KS2 pupils
• An understanding of effective lesson planning and delivery
• Ability to mark assessments in accordance with school policies and guidelines
• A qualified teacher status (QTS) – however ECTs are encouraged to apply if they have had similar experiences
• Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
• A minimum of 2 excellent school references
