Did you know that May is National Share-a-Story Month? Started by The Federation of Children’s Book Groups in the 1960s, it was created to encourage children to read more. We all know that if you can get a child to read more, they will have better academic outcomes. So, if you are an Early Years supply teacher, Primary supply teacher or a supply T.A. you can get involved in supporting children to read more through share a story month.
Firstly, we know time is precious, so we have given you a 10-point summary of share a story month. Secondly, we have provided all the links you need to access classroom resources to help you plan activities.
